Had this conversation with a friend from afar and it dawned on me. .

(that I should make a move nah!) as a splurge of inspiration swept through me. .

Suddenly, I was fired up with ideas of going abroad as if it’s actually that easy. .

(Well, it’s not really a new idea)

Di ko nga na isip that may crisis ngayon sa Pinas

and that companies are undergoing some freeze-hiring for control measure.

Oo nga pala ano?! Naisip ko, but really it doesn’t stop me from planning,

or go on with my plans to go abroad.

I feel the need to be up and about, go out there, broaden my horizon,

go places, live in full independence for as much as my capabilities would allow!

Ayus yun, I may have a chance at becoming a “woman of the world”

as one of my high-school classmate said in his testimonial sa akin

as we were nearing graduation!

Ha! The line just stuck! It surely appealed to me!

Who wouldn’t want to be a woman of the world ba?! (Whatever it entails!)
